Exploring themes and Ideas(1) (Muireann)

To help discuss themes and ideas we created a group chat on messenger with all the members of the group to keep each other updated and in the loop of new themes and ideas so that we can see if ideas are worth pursuing.

Exploring the theme of diversity and culture having people discuss their stories on a platform

Carrigtwohill is a unique community due to its diversity. we are exploring the platform of having a podcast where people talk about their experience and culture to unearth peoples stories and experiences in the community to draw them closer together. A blog would be made attached to the podcast where people can add stories anonymously and it is discussed on the podcast to spark discussions. The host from Carrigtwohill with guests from the community and people of multiple nationalities could zoom call in to have discussions about their experience.

I found when talking to Jim that he loved that we wanted his opinions, knowledge and experience and he said there is no harm in asking questions to people with experience and that there can be a lot learnt from it and that it isn't done enough so by opening a discussion to the whole community a lot might be learnt and unearthed. 

After talking to Jason about his discussion with Aida he mentioned that Aida was talking about doing a podcast and how that talking to different kinds of people can change your outlook. first starting out with ideas I had mentioned in my reflection blog. I put it into our group chat and people started coming out with great suggestions with changes and inputs from people in the group we are starting to put together and explore and idea and theme for our project more.
