Topics and Questions for Our Workshop Participants
Based on a group brainstorming session we had in Google Docs, I have compiled the following questions for use in our workshop/podcast sessions with our participants:
Basic Questions for Older and Younger Generations:
- Name
- Their generation i.e. eighties, nineties, noughties
- Occupation
- Do you take part in any societies, committees or clubs in Carrigtwohill?
- If Carrigtwohill was a person, how would you describe them?
Diversity Related Questions:
- Carrigtwohill's population has become increasingly diverse in the past few decades. In your opinion what kind of changes has this diversity brought to Carrigtwohill?
- How do you feel about these changes?
- Do you think newcomers to Carrigtwohill feel welcomed by other members of the community?
- Is there anything your community do/could do to welcome newer members of the community?
Generational Questions: OLDER
- In three words, how would you describe your generation?
- Carrigtwohill offers a lot of amenities, clubs and services to their people. Do you have any ideas for amenities that could benefit you/your generation?
- How do you feel about the younger generations of Carrigtwohill?
- Do you think it would be beneficial for younger and older generations to connect more?
- Do you think your generation/other generations could do more for your community?
- How do you think your generation will be remembered by future generations?
Generational Questions: YOUNGER
- In three words, how would you describe your generation?
- Carrigtwohill offers a lot of amenities, clubs and services to their people. Do you have any ideas for amenities that could benefit you/your generation?
- What is your opinion of the older generations in Carrigtwohill?
- Do you think it would be beneficial for younger and older generations to connect more?
- Do you think your generation/other generations could do more for your community?
- Do you think people in your generation are likely to stay in Carrigtwohill as you grow older?
COVID Related Questions(aim to use these towards the end/if conversation runs out):
- How has your generation suffered as a result of covid?
- Is there anything you think could be done to help you out in this situation?
- What aspects of your community do you miss most as a result of social restrictions caused by the virus?
