Final Reflection

 Final Reflection

Personally, I learned a lot during the UX Design module. Most of the activities required to do dSEA were things I had never done before, specifically leading workshops. Our workshop doubled as a podcast recording so there was an additional pressure to perform well while catering to the participants and fulfilling our SEA goals. However, the fact we had created a full podcast based around the workshops by the end of the semester felt very rewarding.

Building audience engagement through social media was something I was a little more familiar with, but I definitely gained more experience in this field while campaigning for the podcast. It took a lot of perseverance through Weeks 10-13 to continue posting on our Instagram, and to continue reaching out to other people to promote for us. It did pay off however, as by Week 13 we had gained 108 followers on the account, and were promoted by 3 instagram accounts local to the Carrigtwohill area.
